Psyllium Seeds
Psyllium seed is an Agri-farm product of dried ripe seeds of plant ago ovate forks (farm. Pantaginancae) up of 40% linoleic Acid (LA) which is an important fatty acid essential to health It is treated as laxative in the world market. Psyllium is basically used as a dietary fiber, as Psyllium mucilage absorbs excess water while stimulating normal bowel elimination. It’s mainly used as a laxative, and a true dietary fiber. Psyllium is natural fiber and helps to improve water retention. The seeds are small and weigh less than 2 grams. Psyllium grows best in light well drained and on sandy loams. The soil tends to be low in nitrogen and phosphorus and high in potash with a Ph between 7.2 and 7.9 Nitrogen trials under these condition shows more seeds yield response with the addition of 20lb/ace of nitrogen.
